Prime Academy, launched in April 95, provides specialised classroom training for students undergoing the Chartered Accountancy program. This, the Academy believes, will help the students to face the examinations with greater confidence leading to their early emergence as professional accountants. This conscious pursuit of excellence lead to the Academy's alumni picking up a number of All-India ranks at the CA and CWA examinations, including the All India First rank several times
Over the first Twenty Nine sessions the Academy`s classes have attracted a cumulative enrollment of 63,000 plus students drawn principally from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Orissa, Nepal and of late from Maharashtra, Mumbai, Pune and Goa. The Academy has thus emerged as a major dispenser of classroom instruction.
Today, the Academy offers classes in all subjects at all levels of the CA program.
